Finding Nemo

Aroview: Another giant splash from Pixar studios that, like TOY STORY and MONSTERS INC., is almost mandatory family viewing. This time ground-breaking and flawless in its rendering of an underwater universe, adults will be wowed with the artistry, while kids will of course have a whale of a time.

After Nemo, the little clown fish, gets separated from his father, the film follows the dual journeys of the lost and search parties, who each encounter schools of lively characters, sourced and varied from the bountiful deep. Highlight for us was Bruce the Ocker shark (voiced by Barry Humphries) and his goons, who compliment a largely Antipodean setting (the Great Barrier Reef and Sydney to be exact) that is both refreshing and inspired.
