Aroview: An excellent outer space thriller which proffers an APOLLO 13-like situation of NASA astronauts being stuck in orbit, while the Earthbound controllers (led by Peck) try to contrive a solution. A little overlong, but the brilliant f/x won an Oscar and dir. Sturges delivers more underrated stylishness.

I find this review offensive! I don’t agree with this review. I agree with this review.
3 stars (Good Enough) Too long/flat.What keeps it alive are the effects. Acting requirements are nil. Why a talent like Hackman is required is beyond me - he just sits on his chuff. On the other hand this kind of film suits Peck who belongs to the concrete post acting school. ~Tubbs
