Lost in Translation (2003): Even though located in an exciting city the screenplay gets across the feelings of loneliness and boredom that can be experienced when away from home. To its credit, it also accomplishes this in a low key manner.
Super Size Me (2003): The originality of the approach for one thing makes it memorable.
Incredibles, The (2004): It gets better with repeated viewings and worthy of Pixar.
Shark Tale (2004): There is better animation around but this does the job and the characters are appealing enough.
Mafia! (Jane Austen's Mafia) (1998): There are some risque elements but these are mild compared to what else is around. Able to be enjoyed if the mood is right.
Serenity (2005): It took a while for the special effects to get going and fire things up.
Romantic Road (2017): I never get tired of viewing the beautiful Indian landscapes with or without a Rolls.; DVD $29.95
Priceless (2006): Pure fluff but Audrey ensures it is quality fluff.
Stickmen (2000): Watchable but keeping an audience stuck inside pool and barrooms, to add authenticity I would assume, comes at some risk.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
Allie Eagle and Me (2004): A friendly interviewing technique brings out a good mix of the artist's work and her involvement in the feminist movement in particular.
