Anaconda (1997)
The anaconda segments were fine and couldn't come quickly enough.
Countess Dracula (1971)
Not one of Hammers strongest but still worth a watch.
Tell It To The Bees (2018)
The story follows a well trodden path but the shooting locations, wardrobe, and other period details are excellent.
Troll in Central Park (1994)
Some old–style animation makes a nice change.
Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970)
It is a very good example of what Hammer Studios are capable of. The support casting of British character actors certainly helps.
Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan (2019)
Action aplenty but so is the use of the slow–motion camera. As the screenplay is based on real events the filmmaker should know that people don't get shot in slow motion & it is disrespectful to those facing danger. It should please action fans.
Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, The (1962)
The perpetual good guys of cinema Stewart and Wayne are pushed aside by Lee Marvin's villain performance. Thank Christ for that as two hours of Wayne and Stewart without Marvin would have been unbearable.
My Name is Modesty (2003)
and so is everything else about it.
Fear X (2003)
A must for John Tuturro followers – even if the format of the screenplay doesn't meet with universal appeal, his performance should.
Lodger, The (2009)
The ubiquitous Alfred Molina heads a pretty good cast but, although it tries hard, the screenplay fails to break the mold to rnelevate it to a must watch.
