Messenger, The (2009)
Stunning. Some of this was ad–lib. Foster and Harrelson are superb, but Morton is in a class of her own...... it is what is not said that makes these such great actors. The subject matter is raw and Truthful. rn
Trip, The (2010)
Great fun. Two fine minds. Coogan is the master. Lovely English scenery and dialogue. !
Declaration of War (2011)
Stunning – passionate, emotional. Loved it
Senna (2010)
Wonderful study of the man. A sportsman without compromise. Winning is all there is (or was). Highly recommended.
Antwone Fisher (2002)
Finding Forrester (2000)
Tomboy (2011)
Tumbleweeds (1999)
Stunning. Janet McTeer is something to behold. Compare this to the part she plays in Mr Nobbs and you can understand how very good this actor is. Also the portrayal of the long suffering 12 year old daughter by Kimberly Brown.
Libertine, The (2004)
Lorna's Silence (Le Silence de Lorna) (2007)
Not a "light" film to watch. Very real and disturbing subject matter. Well constructed. Does not state the obvious. Dombroshi does not say or need to say much. Her acting says it all. She is brilliant. You can feel the turmoil rolling around
Honey (Bal) (2008)
Lost innocence. Father and son. Sad but true. Bora Atlas is superb for one so young. A difficult part for a child. The silent moments in the valley's, forest and rivers are palpable. Not a light film but so effective.
Downton Abbey - Series 1 (TV Series) (2010)
