Last House on Dead End Street

Aroview: Both notorious and obscure, this 1970s shocker concerns a drug-dealer who upon being released from jail enters the shady world of porno filmmaking, but, disgusted, instead makes 'snuff' films using his clients as victims.

Imbuing this sleazy storyline with a disturbing atmosphere are the murky visuals, dubbing and torture sequences, taking it into a dreamlike netherworld of 'video nasty' legend. Apparently inspired by the Manson Family killings and cut down from an original 3 hour running time, this is sick and troubling even before the the grisly 'surgery' climax.
