Glengarry Glen Ross
Aroview: Gripping transposition of David Mamet's savage stageplay about ruthless real estate salesmen who reel under a do-or-die sales ultimatum. Cringe in awe as they all drown in their own desperate diatribe.

5 stars (Exceptional) Mamet's bleak, bitterly funny tale of life at the bottom of the capitalist paradigm only gets better with repeat viewings. The entire cast are in WOW-mode, but Lemmon emerges the unforgettable stand-out as an all-time classic chump. ~fairbrother
5 stars (Exceptional) Savagely funny with a brilliant ensemble, with Lemmon as the highlight. ~Wizzums
5 stars (Exceptional) ~Regando
2 stars (Good Try) Wouldn't have minded seeing a bit more of Jonathan Pryce but overall the characters were thin and uninteresting and the performances particularly from Pacino too hysterical. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) A film about financial desperation and powerlessness portrayed through dialogue between slick talking salesmen. Mostly shot inside the office where they work (the stage for their play). Admired the camera work and the female characters we never saw. ~Haystack
