Reunion (2020): It is okay but indistinguishable from others in its crowded genre.
White Riot (2020): A reminder of how bad things were and still are.
Young Winston (1972): Even if you are not interested in Churchill it is a beautifully shot quality production in the hands of Richard Attenborough an experienced biopic director. It is also a chance to watch the Roberts Shaw and Hardy and a regal Anne Bancroft.
RocknRolla (2008): The screenplay limits itself to familiar ground but the casting of an in form Tom Wilkinson with good support from Mark Strong and company make it worthwhile.
Deceiver (Liar) (1997): Not a bad plot idea but its execution is below par even with the talented Tim Roth on board.
Australian Dream, The (2019): The racism aspect is well handled. Very sad.
Footloose (1984): Not particularly strong musically and the dancing isn't memorable. As a time capsule drama, it starts off promisingly but weakens out.
Cousins (2021): The period details are well done and the ladies do justice to an interesting screenplay.
Marksman, The (2020): A bit of a miss.; DVD $29.95 | Blu-Ray $34.95
Buddy Holly Story, The (1978): The drama in the main doesn't seek to flatter its subject and it is all the better for it.
